The mother of a missing Soweto man has called on Midrand students to come forward with information, even if it is given anonymously.

Nontutuzelo Mniki says her 35-year-old son, Lebo Mniki, has been missing since August 28.

Mniki was last seen on CCTV footage entering a private student residence in Midrand, north of Johannesburg. However, there is no evidence of him leaving the residence.

More than 30 days later, his family is still searching for answers.

Nontutuzelo Mniki says she’s devastated.

“Right now, I’m at a point where I’m saying, whatever they have done to him, can you just please tell me where my child is? That’s all I’m asking. Even if it’s a message that says, go look that side.”
