Twelve church members of Assemblies of God and a driver from Tiyani village outside Giyani, died when the taxi was caught between two trucks.

“We rely on passengers. When we lose 12 passengers it is many. So, always we say our passengers is our daily bread and we rely on them to support us, but this accident shocked us as the taxi industry of Santaco Limpopo because when you lose 12 passengers plus a driver, it is sad,” says Mthombeni.
