Premier says matric exam preparations in KZN on track – SABC News
Ntuli and Education MEC Sipho Hlomuka have conducted an oversight visit to the printing centre where exam papers are being prepared.
In less than three weeks, thousands of matric learners will sit for their final exams.
Last week, the Education Department received a R295 million cash injection to cover exam-related costs.
Ntuli has this message for the matric learners, “Our reason for us to be here today is to get the assurance that we are getting ready for exams in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, particularly the matric exams. We wanted to ascertain whether the state of readiness for the province of KwaZulu-Natal to deliver quality examination is at the standard which we envisioned.”
“We are pleased to see that our Matric candidates are fully engaged in our Spring classes,” said KZN MEC for Education, Mr. Sipho Hlomuka.
