GEPF suspends two-pot withdrawals until Oct 21 – SABC News
The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is temporarily suspending two-pot savings withdrawals from its system for two weeks, from the 7th of October to the 21st of October.
The Fund via a statement says the pause is necessary to allow it to update its systems, citing the need to take into account the recalculation of its members’ benefits.
The GEPF says members will not be able to submit new two-pot savings withdrawal applications in the stated period, although all other benefit payments and services will continue as normal.
It says the functionality of the system will come back into effect on the 22nd of October.
