Suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu’s Chief of Staff Cedrick Nkabinde says he is fearing for his life.

This follows what he calls a violent search and seizure raid at his flat last night by officers claiming to have been sent by National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola.

He says around 15 camouflaged officers with balaclavas stormed his flat in Midrand north of Johannesburg looking for laptops and other electronic items.

Nkabinde says he was not home at the time and the police assaulted his brother thinking it was him.

He says should anything happen to him the National Police Commissioner must be held responsible.
