Forum unhappy with MPs’ ‘political point-scoring’ at Ad Hoc Committee – SABC News
The Activists and Citizens Forum has expressed extreme disappointment with the performance of Members of Parliament serving on Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee.
The forum says instead of asking relevant questions, the MPs have been seeking to score political points.
The committee was set up to investigate allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system.
The forum’s spokesperson says the first two witnesses KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola must also be disappointed with the quality of MPs serving on the committee.
