SANParks records 11% revenue increase – SABC News

South African National Parks (SANParks) has reported an 11% revenue increase for the 2024/25 financial year from R3.6 billion to R4.1 billion.

This is the first time that the entity has surpassed the R4 billion mark.

SANParks says 74% of its total revenue comes from tourism.

According to the institution, the results present an overall positive overview of the entity’s operational and financial performance.

SANParks says it also received an unqualified audit outcome for the same period, adding that this affirms the strength of its financial governance and management practices.

The entity says it continues to improve its internal controls which have yielded positive results, as reflected in the Auditor-General’s report.
