Gauteng to prioritise hospital infrastructure: Nkomo-Ralehoko – SABC News
Gauteng Health and Wellness MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko says they are going to prioritise infrastructure maintenance in hospitals around the province.
She was speaking at a joint media briefing by Gauteng MEC’s in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
The aim of the briefing was to share updates on the implementation of the provincial government’s key priorities.
Nkomo-Ralehoko says they will focus on quality refurbishments.
She says, “To focus now on the issue of infrastructure for our hospitals. Because people get discouraged when they get to hospitals and the refurbishment that are there are not the ones that you need. So, it isbjust the facelifting of the hospital that I want to do, hence I was crying for the money for the infrastructure.”
