Four people have been killed and one critically injured in a multiple vehicle accident that occured on the R59 Vaalpark offramp in Sasolburg, Free State.

FS Emergency Medical Services Spokesperson Sipho Towa has urged road users  to exercise caution and seek an alternative route.

The critically injured passenger will be airlifted to hospital.

EMS personnel are currently on the scene and attending to the incident.
