Evan Roos has been in sensational form for the Stormers in the Vodacom URC, but failed to make the Springboks’ 36-man squad for the end-of-year tour.
The No 8 has scored four tries in as many matches to help the unbeaten Cape side top the log.

Roos was one of the notable omissions when the Bok squad was announced on Monday for a tour that includes matches against Japan, France, Italy, Ireland and Wales, although he has been named in a 10-man standby group.
The 25-year-old has made just one Test appearance for South Africa this year – off the bench against Italy in Port Elizabeth – and earned eight caps in total since his debut in 2022.
