Durban: Hot and humid with a high of 29°C, dropping to 16°C overnight.
Bloemfontein: Dry and very warm, peaking at 29°C after a cool 10°C start.
Polokwane: Fine and warm at 27°C, low of 9°C.
Upington: Extremely hot and dry, soaring to 34°C with a warm 21°C minimum.
Gqeberha: Fine and hot early on, clouding over later with 27°C and a low of 17°C.
East London: Very hot inland, 35°C at peak cooling to 20°C overnight.
