Miss SA’s former principal hopes she’ll inspire learners at school – SABC News
Beaconhurst High School in East London in the Eastern Cape is beaming with pride, following the crowning of their former Head Girl as Miss South Africa.
Twenty-four-year-old Qhawekazi Mazaleni walked away with the prestigious title at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Saturday night.
Mazaleni matriculated at the school back in 2019.
The school’s principal Brendan Cloete says he hopes Mazaleni will be an inspiration to other learners at the school.
“She was always dedicated towards giving a bit more to society watching her grow through her career and her profession and where she wants to be in life. She stuck to her goals and her laurels and she has made the most of every opportunity presented to her.”
