Seven killed in Mpumalanga minibus taxi crash identified – SABC News


The seven people killed in the minibus taxi accident on the road between Dullstroom and Belfast in Mpumalanga on Sunday have been identified.

The families identified them at the Middleburg Hospital.

An SUV and a minibus collided. The taxi was transporting passengers from Limpopo to Gauteng.

Eight other passengers were seriously injured.

Ohrigstad Local and Long Distance Taxi Association Chairperson Johannes Malesa says his association will support the bereaved families.

The Fetakgomo Tubatse Municipality has also promised to provide the families with the necessary support.
