President Cyril Ramaphosa and Deputy President Paul Mashatile co-chair the Government of National Unity (GNU) Leaders Retreat at the Cradle Stone Boutique Hotel in Mogale City.

In 2024, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the establishment of a GNU Clearing House Mechanism to resolve policy disagreements within the 10-member GNU and delegated Deputy President Mashatile to lead the GNU Clearing House.

Deputy President Mashatile, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the Government of National Unity (GNU) Clearing House Mechanism, recently convened a virtual meeting of the structure, which finally adopted its Terms of Reference.

Ramaphosa and Mashatile and other leaders of the GNU watched and cheered on the Proteas Women in the ICC Women’s World Cup Final on the sidelines of the GNU Leaders’ Retreat in.

The Proteas Women are facing India in the historic final at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
