Three more arrest in Westbury mass shooting – SABC News

Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with last week’s mass shooting in Westbury, which claimed the lives of two teenagers and left five others injured.

This brings the total number of arrests to five, according to Gauteng’s Anti-Gang Unit.

The latest suspects aged between 17 and 20, were handed over to police on Tuesday by their parents and legal representatives.

The trio is expected to join the first two accused in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Gauteng Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says the accused face two counts of murder and five of attempted murder.
