Police seize alcohol worth R4 million in Somerset West – SABC News
Police have seized alcohol worth nearly R4 million at Somerset West in the Western Cape.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says the liquor was traced from Montague Gardens to a storage facility.
He says nine suspects were apprehended on charges for possession of presumed stolen alcohol.
In a separate incident in Valhalla Park, officers arrested a 48-year-old woman for drug-dealing after they found drugs and cash during a search at an informal dwelling.
The suspects are due to appear in court soon.
