The High Court in Pretoria has ruled that the State may not question accused number one in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Suzi Sibiya, about the alleged confession statement of co-accused Bongani Ntanzi.

On the other hand, the defence argued that Ntanzi’s statement could not be used against the others.

Sibiya and four others are on trial for the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.

Presiding Judge Ratha Mokgwatlheng ruled that no pronouncement has been made yet regarding the confession statements as the case is still ongoing.
