The two allegedly asked the investigating officer to dismiss evidence linking former African National Congress (ANC) MPL, Tally Mashamaite, to the murder of Mogalakwena councillor, Vaaltyn Kekana.
ANC member Ralph Kanyane and Kekana were gunned down in July 2019.
Magistrate Matlaba Kganyago said the aim of the postponement of the matter was to give the defence lawyers time to study the dockets.
“The matter against you is remanded to the third day of December 2025 for disclosure that is for the state to furnish your legal representatives with copies of the docket as well as the charge sheet and for possible pre-trial hearing.”
