Pumas shake up backline as Albornoz returns
Argentina have recalled flyhalf Tomas Albornoz for Sunday’s clash against England at Twickenham, headlining five changes to the Pumas side chasing an unbeaten UK tour.
Albornoz replaces Geronimo Prisciantelli, while Justo Piccardo comes in at centre and Bautista Delguy starts on the left wing. Marcos Kremer shifts to openside flank, with Santiago Grondona promoted to No 8 and Juan Martin Gonzalez moving to blindside in a reshuffled loose trio.

The changes follow Argentina’s remarkable comeback at Murrayfield, where they overturned a 21-0 deficit to beat Scotland 33-24 after scoring five tries in the final 23 minutes.
Up front, prop Thomas Gallo starts alongside skipper Julian Montoya, the former Leicester hooker. Bath playmaker Santiago Carreras stays on the bench after making a major impact as a substitute in Edinburgh.
The Pumas arrive in London after a record 52-28 victory over Wales and the dramatic win in Scotland, but England – chasing an 11th straight victory – pose a significant step up. That streak includes two July wins over Argentina in Buenos Aires.
