Bail bid for Jacobs, Bezuidenhout postponed to 10 December
The bail application for Johan Jacobs and Gert Bezuidenhout has been postponed to 10 December 2025 in the George Regional Court in the Western Cape.
They appeared briefly in court and one of the things that their attorneys raised was the constant delays and postponements, and concerns that their clients had been in solitary confinement for a year now.
The accused were also unhappy with the state, saying that they were still not ready to proceed with the case.
They’re accused of shooting and killing Mark Lifman in the parking lot of the Garden Route Mall in November last year.
