The industry has contributed more than R470 billion to household income in 2024 and it created new opportunities and jobs through local mineral sales worth R248 billion.

We are at a pivotal moment for mining and for the country. With our rich mineral endowment, we have the chance to boost performance, attract investment, and help shape South Africa’s future.
