The City of Tshwane Emergency Services is cautioning Bronkhorstspruit residents and surrounding areas about a potential risk to the Thabo’s Dam wall due to instability caused by persistent heavy rainfall over the past few weeks.

Emergency teams, South African Police Service (SAPS), and Disaster Risk Management officials are on site assessing the situation and taking precautionary measures.

The City says the situation is being continuously monitored, with Emergency Services, SAPS, Disaster Management, and other stakeholders working together to keep the community safe.

The City says extra resources are on standby should they be needed.
