A World Cup-winning Springbok lock will join Gloucester ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The English Premiership club has signed Jean Kleyn, who’s made 160 appearances for Munster over the past 10 seasons.
A powerful and uncompromising presence in the engine room, Kleyn brings a wealth of experience at the highest level of the game, representing both Ireland and the Springboks, winning the 2023 World Cup with the latter.
Renowned for his physicality, work rate and leadership, the 2.03m, 32-year-old adds significant quality and depth to Gloucester’s forward pack.
