Bulelani ‘Boro” Mbunjana is a self-taught DJ, born and raised in the vibrant township of Mdanstane in East London. Started his DJ career in 2010 and ventured into the media career space in 2011 – 2012, as a resident DJ at local community radio station, Mdanstane FM.
Specializing in Deep, Soulful and Deep Techno House, he has played at local EL events alongside many DJs at some of the most established and popular venues, such as Azurro and OhMi Gin Bar.
He recently prides himself in being a 4-week, straight winning contender on The House Connect DJ Challenge, hosted by DJ Lloyd every Saturday from 7pm – 8pm on 5FM radio.
Now ready to spread his wings to greater heights, but the question stands:
“is the world ready for Boro?!”
