Sacha eyes Kings Park encore

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu will draw on memories of a record-breaking night at Kings Park when the Stormers face the Sharks on Saturday.
The flyhalf produced a scintillating all-round display for the Springboks in a 67-30 victory against Argentina last September last year – scoring 37 points via three tries, eight conversions and two penalties.

“I think it would be silly not to lean on that for a bit of confidence,” Feinberg-Mngomezulu said ahead of the game against the Sharks on Saturday afternoon.
“The last time I was at the stadium, I had a great game, and I want to repeat that for my club this weekend. It’s not something I’m going to shut out or pretend didn’t happen.
“I’m proud of what happened here before,” he added. “Now I just want to do the best job I can for the Stormers.”

Despite hot and very humid conditions in Durban which can lead to a wet and slippery ball, Feinberg-Mngomezulu does not expect it to drastically alter the Stormers’ approach.
“We’ve actually had some tricky ball-handling conditions at Cape Town Stadium as well where the ball has been a bit wet and dewy,” he said.
“From a ball handling perspective, obviously we know that some passes are going to be caught against the chest, but otherwise I don’t think it’s too different.
“We played fairly well last week; we just need to sharpen up in a couple of departments.”
