The Sharks have confirmed the signings of two overseas-based South African forwards.
Springbok lock Stephan Lewies and tighthead prop Nemo Roelofse will head to Durban at the end of the current European season.
Lewies (33) returns home after a highly successful seven-year stint with Harlequins. A one-cap Springbok, the lock has made 88 appearances for Quins and captained them to the English Premiership title in 2020-21.

“I arrived at the club in 2019 with a few suitcases and a girlfriend,” Lewies said of his time in London. “I’m leaving with incredible memories, lifelong friendships, a wife and a baby. Gratitude is the word that comes to mind.”
