Meet the Semi-Finalists – Pinky Mothie’s Sari Queen Contest 2026
Twenty women, twenty saris and one crown in sight. The semi-finals of Pinky Mothie’s Sari Queen Contest 2026 take place this Sunday, 1 November, at Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban.
The Sari Queen Contest celebrates the timeless elegance of the sari and the confidence of the women who wear it. This year’s semi-finalists come from every walk of life. They have already turned heads in the earlier rounds, from rich silks and gold-threaded borders to bold colour and modern drapes. Now they step onto a bigger stage with more at stake.
