29 candidates contest by-elections in four provinces today – SABC News
Candidates from ANC, EFF, Umkhonto weSizwe, the DA and Al Jama-ah amongst others will battle against each other for the heart and soul of the wards.
The Electoral Commission has encouraged all eligible voters in participating wards to cast their votes.

Twenty-nine (29) Candidates from sixteen (16) political parties will contest six (6) by-elections in the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo on 2 April 2025.
