ANC congratulates Ramaphosa, govt on successful G20 Summit

The African National Congress (ANC) has congratulated President Cyril Ramaphosa, the government and South Africans for the successful hosting of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg this weekend.
In a statement, the party has welcomed the adoption of the Leaders’ Declaration, which it says carries the promise of tangible benefits for South Africans in the form of debt relief, cleaner and more affordable energy, and job creation through green industries, amongst others.
The ANC has also thanked all participating nations, saying the Summit has demonstrated that forces opposed to human progress, ecological justice and global redevelopment will not prevail.
