Meyiwa trial adjourns after three men removed from court
Police have confirmed a case of conspiracy to commit murder has been registered and being investigated after three men were removed from the High Court in Pretoria during the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial on Tuesday.
The men were seated in the public gallery inside court.
The trial adjourned until Wednesday to allow counsels to deal with the new developments.

Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the men have been attending court proceedings with the intent to eliminate key players in the Meyiwa case.
“The SAPS received solid intelligence that there are a group of individuals who attend proceedings with the sole purpose of looking for an opportunity to eliminate key players on the side of the state. The SAPS has taken a group of individuals who attended proceedings this morning for further questioning and profiling. Security has been heightened, and intelligence is on high alert. No arrests have been made thus far as investigations and a search for more individuals continue.”
