Two Springboks have been included in the Sharks touring group after being released by the national team.

Scrumhalf Grant Williams and winger Edwill van der Merwe have linked up with Durban-based franchise, providing a timely injection of pace and experience in the backline.

Coach John Plumtree has also drafted in veteran Griquas playmaker George Whitehead as flyhalf cover.
