The National Prosecuting Authority continues to be in the spotlight following a string of failed cases.

Several high-profile cases have been bungled, including the prosecutions of the Gupta brothers, Timothy Omotoso, and the recent handling of allegations against Moroadi Cholota.

This has resulted in the public seemingly losing confidence in the institution.

National Director of Public Prosecutions, Advocate Shamila Batoh, disagrees with sentiments that the NPA is bungling cases:
