He says pilot dialogues show that South Africans are willing to engage on the country’s challenges and contribute solutions.
Mashatile says the National Dialogue belongs to the people, and all sectors must finalise their participation and mobilisation plans.
Following the Local Government Elections, he has urged the Steering Committee to resolve outstanding governance issues and strengthen confidence in the process.
Consultations are continuing with the youth, people with disabilities, civil society, faith-based organisations, women and other sectors.
The Deputy President says these sectors show that the momentum towards a citizen-led dialogue continues to grow.
