Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) Justice Nambitha Dambuza says more people are turning to the Constitutional Court because they can receive direct access to justice.

Dambuza fielded questions from the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), which is conducting interviews in Sandton, Johannesburg.

She is vying for one of two vacancies at the Constitutional Court.

Dambuza says, “When people don’t get the outcomes that they want they will go and look for another avenue and in instances where one does not necessarily have to go through an attorney, you will get more and more of those kinds of litigants wanting to have a rehearing of the matter.”
