The flotilla was intercepted on Wednesday by the Israeli navy. Its aim was to break the siege of Gaza by delivering humanitarian aid.
Coordinator of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Usuf Chikte says, “It is not only Chief Mandla Mandela. It is also Zukiswa Wanner, it is also Fatima Hendricks, Caroline, Reaaz Moola and Zaheera Soomar. All of them have been captured, abducted by Israel in international waters at gunpoint, carrying medicines and food for a starving population.”
