R33 in Modimolle closed as heavy rains flood low-lying bridges
The R33 road in Modimolle, Limpopo, has closed for traffic due to heavy rains in the area.
Disaster management spokesperson Tsakani Baloyi says all the low-lying bridges are over-flowing.
Baloyi is urging the motorists not to cross overflooded bridges.
The weather service has predicted disruptive rains and flooding in the area.
