SAWS warns of heat wave over Witzenberg municipality in W Cape

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of a heat wave with persistently high temperatures over the Witzenberg Municipality in the Western Cape for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecaster Christopher Nkosi says it will affect the province’s western parts.
“Very hot to extremely hot and uncomfortable conditions are expected over the West Coast, Cape Winelands and the City of Cape Town Municipalities for the Western Cape, as well as the Namakwa District from the Northern Cape,on Tuesday,” adds Nkosi.
