The Wallabies are poised to welcome back skipper Harry Wilson for Saturday’s Rugby Championship showdown against Argentina in Townsville, with his return triggering a key reshuffle in the forward pack.
According to The Roar, Wilson is expected to slot straight back in at No 8, pushing Rob Valetini to blindside flank and Tom Hooper into the second row to cover the absence of Will Skelton. The move looks set to extend Lukhan Salakaia-Loto’s time out of the Test frame, with Nick Frost and Jeremy Williams again in line to be preferred.

At the back, Andrew Kellaway is tipped to reclaim the No 15 jersey in the wake of Tom Wright’s season-ending ACL injury. Kellaway’s selection would allow Joe Suaalii to continue his promising midfield partnership with Len Ikitau after recovering from a head knock.
Nic White, who also failed an HIA against the Springboks, is expected to retain the No 9 jersey alongside veteran James O’Connor, with Tom Lynagh set to wait another week for his opportunity after rejoining the squad in Townsville.
The Wallabies’ match squad will be confirmed by head coach Joe Schmidt on Thursday.
