Search continues for two people swept away by KZN flash floods

The search continues for two people who were swept away in flash floods at uMshwathi outside Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
This comes after heavy rain battered the area on Sunday night, leaving houses and roads severely damaged. Rescue teams also found the body of a woman in her 40s on Monday.
The heavy rain left a trail of destruction and hundreds of people homeless. Roads and bridges in several areas of the uMshwathi Local Municipality were damaged, making them inaccessible to motorists.
