Some of the activists on board the vessels include Inkosi Mandla Mandela and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.

They want to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and raise awareness about the urgent humanitarian needs of the Palestinians.

The Foreign Affairs Ministers have called on everyone to refrain from any unlawful or violent act against the flotilla.

They say any violation of international law against the vessels in international waters will lead to accountability.
