Three killed in Middelburg crash
Three people have died and three others sustained injuries following a crash between two vehicles on the N4 Toll Road near Middelburg in Mpumalanga.
Community Safety spokesperson Moeti Mmusi says they suspect that negligent driving was the cause of the crash.
Meanwhile, the N1 road outside Louis Trichardt in Limpopo has been reopened to traffic.
The road was closed for more than five hours following a crash which claimed the lives of four people.
Twenty-two people were injured in the multiple-car crash.
Spokesperson for Transport MEC, Tshifhiwa Dali says the road has since been cleared.
“The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety wishes to inform the public and motorists that the N1 road near Binladen farm, six kilometers from Makhado town which was closed has been reopened.”
