Two people have been shot dead in Delft on the Cape Flats. The incident is suspected to be gang-related.

Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, says officers have launched a manhunt for the suspects.

“Police members were called to the crime scene, where they found the victims inside an informal dwelling with gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The circumstances and the motive for the attack forms part of the police investigation,” adds Twigg.
