Five children among eight killed in N2 crash near Scottburgh
Eight people were killed in a horror crash on the N2 late on Sunday night near Scottburgh.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the crash involved a light motor vehicle and a truck on the northbound carriage.
Spokesperson Samantha Meyrick said the crash took place before 10 pm.
She said a Hyundai H100 crashed into the back of a truck.
“Eight people died on the scene, and two were in a critical condition.”
Meyrick said five of the deceased were children.
