The rand is trading at 16-rand-21-cents to the dollar; 21-rand-63-cents to pound sterling; 18-rand-55-cents to the euro; and at eleven-rand-24-cents to the Australian dollar.
The euro is trading at one-dollar-14 cents, and the dollar is at 161-yen-17.
Looking at the commodities market, gold is trading at four-thousand-179-dollars and platinum at one-thousand–657-dollars per ounce.
The price of Brent crude oil is 72-dollars-20-cents a barrel.
